Messy plot and it has massive plot holes. Characters make all possible bad decisions and the motivations are all over the place. Enjoyable though, excellent for sleepless nights or beach days.
On the bright side, it reads as a stand Alone. You don't need to read the previous book "The Family Upstairs" to pick up the story.
