Rifts & Refrains by Devney Perry

3.0

I liked this one I think better than the first. It had a couple of lines that felt pretty typical Devney Perry (stroke for stroke etc), but I liked the conflict and found it interesting but one major flaw is it felt very similar to the first book in conflict and background with a slightly different flavor and even though it was written by a new author and about a new character I feel like Quinn would have learned from Jonas and taken his experience into account in her life decisions. The whole this isn't solvable felt pretty off because of that. I did love the way Nan played a role throughout the story and I enjoyed how Quinn reconnected with her family.
