The Minimalist Home: A Room-By-Room Guide to a Decluttered, Refocused Life by Joshua Becker

informative inspiring reflective medium-paced

Honestly, this is probably one of my favorite books. This has helped shift my mindset on how I view my home. I’m such a sentimental person, which means that I often accumulate things because of memories attached or who things came from (which is fine! But I’ve recognized there’s truly no need for a lot of what I have).

This book isn’t the trendy “minimalism” you find on pinterest and all the things, but moreso talks about minimalism in a light that is meant for you to get the most out of your home and life, rather than for the aesthetic. This book is really encouraging and much of what Becker talks about I now want to implement into my own home. Becker also has a really nice style of writing that makes reading an informational book like this really easy. Highly recommend
