Harvest Moon by Lisa Kessler

**I received and ARC in exchange for an honest review.**
When I received this book to review, I didn't realize it was the fourth book in a series already. I can't believe I requested the book to review and didn't realize this. So, I went ahead and purchased the three booking in the series so I could catch up. My only problem is that it added three more books to my already lengthy review list. Unfortunately I wasn't able to read all of them but only the first book in the series which gave me a good base of the book.
I am very shocked with myself for going ahead and reading the fourth book in a series without reading the other books first. I love series and I always enjoy seeing how the stories change from book to book.
As for my review... I did enjoy this book a lot. I was lost in parts (since I didn't read two books in the series). The writing was good. I loved the relationship between Jason and Kilani! It was so sweet and honest (once they got past a few things of course). If I wasn't for me enjoying their relationship, then I don't think I would have liked this book as much. A good relationship that catches the reader can either make or break a book, but it definitely made the book!
I am looking forward to going back and reading books two and three in the series then to re-read this book again. I have a feeling my review will go up once I have the whole story line and completely understand this book.
Rating: 3.5/5
