How I Learned to Understand the World: BBC RADIO 4 BOOK OF THE WEEK by Hans Rosling

challenging informative inspiring reflective medium-paced

4.0

Hans Rosling is a special man. He's done so much for the world he was master of, he deserved more time to finish this book than he got. And you feel this lack of time while reading. Some of the darkest stories are fleshed out in full gruesome detail, while other, more mundane are left lacking.

You want to know more about rosling, a brilliant man, about his life, his thinking, his way of seeing the world. You get that here. Yet the afterword is what hit me most. His wife Agnes talking about their life, Hans' quirks and anecdotes about their 50 years together are moving and a special read.
