I'm Dutch-Swiss, feeling European. I live in Italy since 2002, coming there since 1974. I had to read Scurati about M (Benito Mussolini). In a way, indeed he is a son of his epoch (century). Was fascism unavoidable? It contributed to Nazism and the emergence of crazy Adolf. Absolutely a MUST READ for anyone interested in history, culture, Europe and the future.
Now I have to discover the 2 following volumes and then the book by Scurati on the dangers of our time.
