idk if anyone else feels this way, but at the end i was about ready to yank my hair out of my head if i had to read “the german” or “bah” one more freaking time. author, bestie, it is okay to use pronouns, it’s way less noticeable. the “bah” thing made me unreasonably angry, like there was no purpose for this to be in her inner dialogue. don’t even get me started on the use of “poop.”
i also feel like there was a mild misogynistic undertone to this book. tbh i’ve gotten that vibe from every book i’ve read by this author. one of these days i’ll stop reading books by her lmao.
that being said, this was my fav of the three i’ve read. don’t get it twisted, i did not love it, but the tension was decent and their romance was more believable than others i’ve read by her.
