Stranger Than Fanfiction by Chris Colfer

2.0

First off, I didn't even realize this was the actor from Glee until he started reading the audiobook. So that was a pretty cool surprise!
Second off, this was an okay story, but some of it felt forced. I have no problem with representation of different groups of people in books. I believe that EVERYONE should be able to find and see themselves within characters BUT this felt like it was overkill. It felt like the author said, "Okay, I need this type of person AND this type of person AND this type of person" and it just started to feel less genuine because it felt like EVERYBODY had to have something about them that made them stand out.
I almost gave it 2.5 stars because of the twist at the ending (didn't expect the diagnosis!) but the last line of the book felt cheesy.
