I absolutely loved this book. It’s everything I’d want from a Norse inspired story. I loved the battle scenes, I could picture them so easily and felt like I was watching these scenes play out live.
I find Freya to be complicated yet understandable and I love her. Her feelings make sense for everything she’s going through and we find out information with her that helps the puzzle of her click into place. The set up of how we find out information with her was done so well.
Freya’s struggles are so real and I LOVE a forbidden romance so everything about her and Bjorn was perfection. The push and pull and uncertainty and secrecy, ugh I’m obsessed. There’s so much to happen in this series and I’m already itching for more.
