I really enjoyed the dialogue in this short variation from the Pride and Prejudice narrative. Amusing, flirty and fun!
Darcy and Lizzie talk a bit more openly and flirt a bit more with slightly fewer misunderstandings.
Slight spoiler but if you are a Bingley fan, this may disappoint you as things don’t progress with Jane and her head is turned elsewhere.
I find I enjoy stories with less Wickham drama when I want to relax and this is mostly drama-free so I found it to be a very relaxing and entertaining read.
