So kickass freedom fighter Mirelle gets captured by Zandian warriors Lanz and Domm and taken as their mate. But Mirelle was born to be a fighter and save humans. Can she be mated and keep saving lives?
This was an ok read. I loved Mirelle as a character. She’s independent and strong. I didn’t really like her being held captive. I just wanted her to break out, however nice her captors were. As they mentioned in the book, by keeping her captive they were squashing all the special things which made her so attractive.
I liked how it all resolved itself in the end though. The sex scenes were ok but nothing great. It’s light BDSM which isn’t totally my thing. You punish me? I just want to kick you in the balls. You want me to call you master? I just want to kick you in the balls. You see? It’s just me.
I just felt they were a little surface sometimes, but the action was good and it was a fast-paced read.
