This was quite okay !

The voice of the main character is interesting and well defined, the storyline works and the book is a solid distraction. This isn't a masterpiece but it isn't bad.

I didn't like the sci-fi story in between chapters, I don't think it added something wortwhile to the main story, especially
the bit where it is said to be wildly popular, I can't see why it would be
, I personally disliked it.

All in all, will not reread in the near future, but still liked it.
