This was quite okay !
The voice of the main character is interesting and well defined, the storyline works and the book is a solid distraction. This isn't a masterpiece but it isn't bad.
I didn't like the sci-fi story in between chapters, I don't think it added something wortwhile to the main story, especially
the bit where it is said to be wildly popular, I can't see why it would be , I personally disliked it.
