it's been such a long time since i've read book one.... i remembered the gist of the story, but some of it took me a while to pick up on from context clues. i really wished i would have had a copy of book one to skim through and read the last few chapters!
anyhow.
this one was fun to read. loved the new characters. especially Spence! thank goodness for him! i struggled with Violet and Lincoln's relationship, for some reason I'm still holding out for Phoenix, even though he is like a super villain in this one. i just KNOW he has to still have feelings for Violet. i felt like we were all over the place! so much happens in this book. wowzers. didn't know where it was heading the entire time. although i did pick out the betrayer right away. well.... i had it narrowed down to a few and figured it out a few chapters before Violet did.
interested to see how the next book is going to go. please don't be evil Phoenix! :P
