Sooo…. This review is primarily a bitch fest about how much I dislike Grace.

Grace is in denial about how she feels about Hudson for pretty much the entire book. She dragged both Hudson and Jaxon along because she couldn’t decide and selfishly didn’t want to loose either of them, though she claimed she didn’t want to hurt any feelings. She was determined to hold onto both of them for as long as possible until she was forced not to.

I think I got so incredibly annoyed with Grace for avoiding conflict like the plague and all her indecision because I am the exact opposite and can’t stand this way of thinking. She just immediately shut down the second she had any emotion. She simply could not deal. She also gave both me and Hudson emotional whiplash with how back and forth she was about literally everything. She was so hot and cold with him. Grace also didn’t want to confess her feelings out loud to Hudson because that would make them true/real and if she lost him it would hurt more (for her) if he knew how she felt apparently… make it make sense. Please. She was such a idiot. She had a huge martyr complex. She was so naive. I truly don’t understand why she’s the middle of a love triangle between two brothers (who thought that was a genius idea?!) and also the center of this group of friends. Seriously. She is ruining this series for me.

This book didn’t compare to the first two. There was a lot of filler and I got bored easily. I was super disappointed with the direction this book took with the plot and with the romance. I was looking forward to so much more out if her relationship with Hudson and was very let down. This book is a perfect example why I struggle reading YA.
