The Perfect Match by Susan May Warren

3.0

This was a 4 star until I got to the end. I loved watch Ellie and Dan give into their hearts...especially seeing Dan walk through this process (I feel like so many books it takes the characters 3/4 book to decide they can't live without the person!). But **spoiler** how Ellie completely turned on Dan and blamed him got under my skin....I could move on and see her as someone who has some soul wounds that God needs to heal (if I really want to analyze a fiction book!)...however; when Dan suggested that Guthrie may be the arsonist - Sam is quick to say, "Guthrie is a churchgoing man. You know that." Then within seconds Sam "remembers" a NOVEL of all the crimes Guthrie has commited (and ones that Sam was involved in arrest wise)....he just "forgot" pages and pages? It felt so rushed and like Warren had to wrap it up ASAP.

Perhaps I'm overreacting but I loved the book until this one point. *shrug*
