I've had this book for years and didn't know much about it but I'm glad I finally got round to it. While I didn't love it, I did think it was an interesting read. The atmosphere of 1930s Berlin is unsettling and there's a mysterious element to the plot which I wasn't expecting. It was also much easier to read than I thought and I'll make an effort to pick up Goodbye To Berlin sometime.
Minor: Violence, Police brutality, and Antisemitism
