From Notting Hill with Love... Actually by Ali McNamara

2.0

The thing I really enjoyed about this book was all the references to British rom com movies which are my favorite and I loved that every reference was a movie I’d seen. The book itself, however, was over 400 pages and way too long. The main character lacked depth and so much of the book was totally unrealistic (her friend falls into the Small World ride at Disneyland Paris and then escapes by putting on the Goofy suit? Huh?). Other than the movie quotes the ending was so unrealistic (running away at your own wedding to go be with the guy you’ve known for three weeks and missed once). Wish this book had been better but it was an okay chick lit read.
