A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams

3.0

I read this for English, so of course I'm rating/reviewing this more critically than if I had read it for fun.
To me, it was an interesting tale, but the characters--especially Blanche--were all so annoying. That whole Southern belle attitude with Blanche and macho man presence with Stanley really bugged me. Maybe I'm just being harsh, since that was how many people acted back then, but I still didn't like it.
Story was good, characters made it a bit worse.
