mysterious slow-paced
I've read it before, long ago. This reread was library ebook. Libby app tells me that i had it open for 11 hours as i returned it back to the library. Parts got skimmed, when the words felt too verbose and dragging and monologue. They don't have the next one as ebook alas- it's been too long for me to remember the plot of the next  and whether i will remember this plot when i get to the next book remains to be seen.
