La Belle Sauvage by Philip Pullman

5.0

It was so good to be back in the world of Lyra. Even better, it was great to gain context into how she came to be at Jordan College. This back (side?) story only created more depth to characters that were already rich. This book illuminated parts of the culture of The Golden Compass, that I apparently was willing to leave unquestioned. In short, this book was equally parts informative as entertaining.
