Really beautifully written and the change up in the middle was sad but not what I was expecting at all (very well done if I say so myself). I think that the way love is presented in this book is very beautiful however I did find it (especially after 1/3 way through) too slow and drawn out to keep constant rhythm and pace. The first 1/3 was pretty easy to get into and I found that the focus of the book waned after a certain point. However, do not want to take away from the writing, absolutely beautiful and writes about queer love with so much respect and heart, just a bit drawn out/slow at times for me personally.
