this is one of my favourite books of all time. it's so heartwarmingly beautiful, complex and incredibly well-done character development, wonderful story on friendship and companionship, self-love and self-respect and respect for others, family dynamics, dismantling trauma of emotional abuse, sapphic love that is playful and makes you feel giddy as a reader, there's a wonderful diverse cast of poc characters and queer characters, on accountability and flaws, and it's generally just a beautiful story on love in any form. i personally really needed a good summer read and this book was everything and beyond i wanted. AND two more things that personally meant a lot to me: the mc is on the ace spectrum and haikyuu was mentioned haha
Graphic: Panic attacks/disorders and Xenophobia
Moderate: Bullying, Cancer, Grief, and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Death of parent
