I only recommend this for the chapters narrated by Will M Watt

Audiobook narrators Will M Watt and Carmen Rose are good. Watt is excelllent with the different accents, and providing suitable inflections and details to the drama and dialogue.

But it’s not enough. The last 35% dragged. And that’s down to the writing. It no longer kept my interest when the plot ramped up.

- I don’t believe a successful team of SAS wouldn’t haven’t chosen therapy for ptsd.
- Matt was manipulating Briar. Despite what he claims in ch31
- I don’t get why they like each like Matt? Glen and Alenta’s love and loyalty to Matt are hard to believe. Briar claiming she loves him is also not shown in the writing. It’s just stated all too quickly.
- Julies character wasn’t believable. why would this huge celebrity not have more than one person to engage with on her pr and what about delegating some of this stuff to a lawyer or manager
- the stalker plot lost steam even though a lot happened.
-the sex scenes weren’t as engaging after the initial lighthearted attraction. It’s very focused on penetration and dicks. Even with Watt’s excellent narrating talents, I struggled to care
