A cozy cute spicy read. Loved the fmc and the low stakes plot, I enjoyed that it was all something new to me. It was just enough to keep you hooked, but was a little long for my taste. I rounded up because the writing was really good and loved the Aussie slang.
(However I am generous with this review slightly- I didn’t really like how it ended since it felt like a lot of build up for a weird cliffhanger. There was also a lot of scenes that could have been cut from the first book. I got to 15% on the second book and DNFd cause I found I just wasn’t invested enough in the characters/story.)
