Deadpool vs. Old Man Logan by Declan Shalvey

2.0

I… kept hoping for more from this book. And maybe that wasn't fair. It was a mini-series. But… it felt very paint-by-numbers, like there was a scaffold of ideas present, but there was something missing: perhaps the desire of the writer to explore them? Perhaps the limitations of page count in a limited-run series? I'm not sure, but everything just happened. The two title characters seemed wafer-thin, like the writer had based them from a point-form summary of each of their characters.

Sometimes the whole is less than the sum of its parts?
