Book 2 and I'm hooked! The entire story was great, but that ending...😳 😢
I'm loving the growing relationship between Crepsley & Darren!
Spoilers beyond this point 👉
Darren was a little insufferable with his struggles with drinking human blood, however I try to take into account his age, his strong moral character, and the age of the target audience. I realize his struggles make him a compelling character.
"Underneath me, Sam Grest - who'd been my friend and saved my life - lay perfectly still and slipped further and further into the final sleep of an unfair and horrible death."
Ultimately the brutality of the Wolf Man and Darren finally drinking Sam's blood so he would live on through Darren endeared this series to me.
