Power Man and Iron Fist, Volume 1: The Boys Are Back in Town by

For the most part, this was a good one! Thanks for the recommendation, Anne!

There was some good humor and fun puns all around. Plus, I liked the team up between these two. Throughout most of this, I felt like Iron Fist/Danny Rand played the comic relief, which is great, but it seems to add a different layer to the story than I'm used to seeing. After reading the first run of Iron Fist in the Marvel Premiere series, this is definitely a different style of character. I still love Luke Cage and it was fun to see the portrayal of his relationship with Jessica Jones.

Overall, this was a fun, quick read. Worth the time and some good laughs! I also appreciated that the "villains" weren't straight-forward 1- or 2-dimensional characters. It helped provide a nice nuance that isn't always there.

Plus, I got my new tablet in the mail yesterday and reading comics on Marvel Unlimited on a 10-inch screen makes a world of difference from previously using my phone.
