Meh. It got really heavy-handed with the preaching.
What I did like about this universe was seeing what was going on behind the scenes of this utopia. So many other dystopian stories make it seem like it is all perfection and everyone is in line. But this story gives a look behind the curtain and we’re like, “Of course these perfect “free” citizens don’t make their own cloth!”
But, I don’t think I’m interested enough to go on to the third book.
