This is a wonderful story full of self discovery, healing, and identity. Meadows weaves a slot burn (yet hot) romance together with a riveting conspiracy plot, creating a beautiful tapestry that I tore through in less than a week.
There is incredible diversity, both LGBTQ+ representation and artful depiction of POC. <I was originally wary of the rape scene so early in, but it was sensitively written. The only thing I wish for this book is more development of the healing from the assault; recovery and healing is not as nicely wrapped up in a bow, the way it is depicted in the book.>
