Oh gods I have too many feelings about the Ice Queen and Fire Prince and all that. Also, Cake is the best. This comic is a treat, I wish it existed when I was 10.
And if you still need to be reminded that representation matters, let me share what happened when my spouse's 3 year old goddaughter saw this comic. We were showing her some comics, which she loves even though she's obviously too young to read (it's ok, we can read them for her), when she spotted this cover. She immediately clapped her hands and squealed in delight "It's a girl!". So, yeah, princesses are all very fine, but some girls want to see a comic where a girl hits things with a sword.
