Kristin Hannah is incredible at writing strong female characters. I love the way she weaves love into her books and this one is no exception. The storyline, character development, setting… all wonderful. It was gut-wrenching at times, and I may have skipped 40 pages ahead and one point because I just couldn’t take not knowing how something ended up. I was biting my nails, had butterflies, it was just so good, so emotional, and ended so well. ❤️
