Wieland and Memoirs of Carwin the Biloquist by Charles Brockden Brown

3.0

Interesting in one of the most basic ways, this book really only appeals in the sense of basic mystery that is already explained in the introduction. I know that most academically produced books do so, but it doesn't help that the book is already kind of boring and repetitive. I read this for a graduate-level course.

In all honesty, the "Memoirs of Carwin the Biloquist" was the most interesting part, and it is unfinished!
