A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, by Holly Jackson

challenging dark emotional mysterious sad fast-paced

5.0

This book came out far better than I thought it would. I think the way Holly Jackson executed and embodied real world crime into the story made it very interesting. I really enjoyed the interviews for the podcast and the reader being able to dive right into the podcast and what it was. Anytime I think of this book I think of  the Adnan Syed case and the Murder of Hae Min Lee. The Serial Podcast did several interviews with Adnan as an accused murderer, and other witnesses to see if they could “solve” Hae Min Lees murder. This book to me was very reminiscent with that not to mention all of Andy’s “secrets” adding to the drama.
