I'm sorry but my brain is still stuck in a single thought: DOUBLE BABIES!!!! So exciting!!

This book was good, every single one from the saga is, but sadly Raisy is my least favorite couple. I'm not sure why, but that's how it is. Maybe it's because Ryke's constant cursing got on my nerves. It gets annoying when there's some variation of the word f*ck every other sentence. Maybe it's because I couldn't sympathize all that much with Ryke's and Daisy's emotional struggles regarding their relationships with their parents. Maybe it's because no couple can live up to Rose & Connor. Who knows...

One thing I definitely loved was learning that Ryke speaks French. That scene in the Mexican restaurant was priceless! Best pregnancy announcement ever! Also, Jonathan's willingness to go sober for his sons. He's such a complex character. I so get why Loren has such a complicated relationship with his dad. I still can't decided if he's awesome or the worst, and it's been like 5 books already. I'm glad Ryke is trying to let go of his daddy issues. He'll be so much happier once he lets go of all that negative emotions.

On the down side I'm tired of reading how every one of the Calloway girls feels guilty for being privileged. It's just the way it is, girls. Please accept it and move on. Having lots of money isn't a good reason for doing things that make you all miserable. They all need t0 stop punishing themselves. I wonder if there'll be any sort of redemption for Samantha. She's the worst mom ever.
