Discovering Grace by Sally Britton

4.0

Loved this second book in the Inglewood series! Grace and her twin sister Hope are complete opposites. Hope is outgoing, brash, and always seeking adventure. Grace is demure, intelligent, kind, but quiet. She hates the limelight. When a neighbor offers a trip to one of the twins to sail and spend a year in the Caribbean, Hope leaps at the chance. When Hope is involved in a carriage accident, her father decides that the only way to curb her impetuous ways is to force Hope to stay home and send Grace in her place. This is insufferable to Grace and she plots to find a way to not go. She is also loathe to leave her best friend Jacob whom she has loved for years. Meanwhile, Jacob is secretly in love with Hope. When he hears that she is leaving, he is upset, but with the change in plans, he wonders if he has a chance to win Hope.

This is such an enjoyable story with lovable characters. Grace's character really shines in this book especially without Hope's character overshadowing her. I also liked Jacob who really begins to see Grace for who she is and comes to understand who really out of the sisters would make the best wife for a rector. The romance is swoon worthy and I stayed up way too late to finish the book. Look forward to the next book in the series.
