I did not like this one as much as Ian and Beth's book. I enjoyed the themes and ideas a lot, but felt that the execution was a bit off.

I like that Ashley gets into hard topics, in this book miscarriage and alcoholism, and treats them pretty well, and with the gravity they deserved. I didn't like the back and forth between Isabella and Mac, it got to be way too repetitive, and sometimes I wondered why they were still doing this. Having a character that embodied Mac's insecurities was incredibly interesting and would have been awesome to dive deeper into, instead of saving that for the last few pages. The ending was way too neatly tied up, and I was sitting there like "what was the point??"
