When you read a romance and find yourself wishing the hot main guy would just dump the main girl to find somebody else.......it's not a good sign! OMG....what a chore this was to read. Sayer's issues were ridiculous since her Dad, the cause of them, was dead! Hello.....smart enough to be a lawyer but too damn dumb to get a shrink. I almost DNF'd but made myself skim it since I had bought it already!
It was a waste of my time even skimming it. I just can't take an entire book where one of the leads can't get it together and spends the entire time pushing the hot guy away. UGH.....even the sex wasn't that hot because after a while it just wasn't believable anymore. It had so much descriptive detail without much dialogue....not my preference.
