A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen

5.0

I was curious to read this book as an example of mens' attitude to women in the 19th century, and how it was beginning to change. Although a play, the text was surprisingly readable. It gave a glimpse into a different world where women were possessions and to think or act independently resulted in being patrionised or treated like a naughty child.
