Jay's dabble into the shifter world was an enjoyable read. Here we have a universe where humans are well aware, yet mistrustful of shifters. Even though I could see the plot point coming from a mile away I still liked the book. There was some steam, but I wouldn't call it sizzling like a lot of shifter novels tend to be. The MCs were likeable with basically no angst between them at all. I would have liked a bit more to go on between them. I liked it enough to read another.
