The Revolutionary: Samuel Adams, by Stacy Schiff

challenging slow-paced

2.5

So, if it wasn't for the Governerds reading this for book club, I would have quit a long time ago. It just drug on and on. I like to read all different genres and this book just didn't do it for me. I kept getting distracted while I was reading and then I'd realize, I have no idea what I just read. I read like 4 chapters in the beginning and had no idea what I'd read so I started over. Still no clue. The writing isn't very reader friendly. It was like reading a text book. I rated this 2 stars for the few parts that did capture my attention, but it was very few.
