The Well of Lost Plots by Jasper Fforde
4.0
Well, whoever said there are no new plots certainly hasn't read this book. It takes place entirely within the "book world" which means that the usual rules don't apply. It was wonderful to see how favorite characters really are when the story isn't currently focused on them! Who would have guessed Miss Havisham was so cool?
Some of the story stretched my imagination a little too far, but mostly I enjoyed the cleverness of a world where books are the most valuable thing to humans, and everyone accepts that fictional characters are real people too.
