Dust Tracks on a Road, by Zora Neale Hurston

4.0

Zora, Zora, Zora!

I loved Zora from the moment I met her. Their Eyes were Watching God was my introduction to American literature. Needless to say, it was a great introduction. I read TEWWG almost two decades ago. I should probably re-read it.

Dust Tracks on a Road was a good read. At some points though, I felt there were a lot of names (too many) and that was a bit tedious. But on some points, I smiled and cheered "My Zora!". I loved her thoughts on religion and justice, to some extent, I agree with her on race issues. I do believe that she was unusually blessed. All in all, it's a good read.
