Saving Us: A Climate Scientist's Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World by Katharine Hayhoe

hopeful informative sad slow-paced

4.5

This book puts forth the argument that the best way to advocate for the climate is to show people in your groups how climate change already affects the things that they are passionate about. By having discussions about why you’re scared about climate change, and by connecting with others, you’re able to be a better voice to solve climate change (as opposed to having heated arguments). Draw attention to the problems, but also bring particular attention to the solutions. The latter is the key to avoiding apathy and spurring change. This book is a great introduction to climate change geared towards the general public.
