A Big Mooncake for Little Star by Grace Lin

The quest to read 75 books for my youth lit class begins! I'm going to be tackling all of the picture books and board books as early as I can so that I can tackle harder books later in the semester.

I loved the art in this book, and I loved that it was a book about the moon and the moon phases. I loved that little kids could relate to this book (who doesn't want to eat cake?) and that adults could find some humor in it too. This would be a really great book to read for preschool storytime.
