What a fabulous book! Fun protagonist, great supporting characters, superior plot. Still mad the cover doesn't have her BRAIDS in it.
(Hello, WTF. They are actually mentioned FREQUENTLY in the book, it's not just a quick description thing. You can't get the main character correct on the cover? Is this what happens when a male, white author draws a Black, female character? He doesn't even stand up and say the cover art is flat out wrong? I know authors don't get a lot of say but he should have put his foot down. And what are publishers thinking? Get it right, people.)
