Okeeeey, I love this book.
"We will rise, red as the dawn" Damn! this should be printed everywhere, I NEED a mug with this quote.
Is it weird that I actually was looking forward to a romance between Maven and Mare, like for real. Cal is nice, I like him, yes. But I loved Maven way better, and all of a sudden he betrayed me. God damn it!
And Shade! Whaaat, ok let me just say that I CALLED it! I knew the moment they said he was dead that he wasn't. I felt it in my bones!
And Farley, holy shit, I love me a boss ass female character, I want more of her, out of all the characters Farley would be my favorite ( aside from Nice Maven). And I want more of Evangeline as well, even though she's a bitch, but a warrior.
All in all, it was a great book, with a great plot, I liked the plot. Kept me wanting to read more, the last couple of chapters it was like I was sitting on fire, I needed to know more. I'm going to have a pause from fantasy before reading the next book, I have a headache from the trauma caused by stupid Elara
