Bridget Jones's Diary by Helen Fielding

2.0

Alright, to be fair, this book is the reflection of those times, particularly the obsession of calories, little body positivity and obsession of men. I guess I could see what made people buy it as it was really humorous, but it did not have the overall charm the movie had. I guess that's a mistake on my end; never watch the movie before reading the book cause things will just be ruined for you.

Overall, it's a meh book; and I'm so glad the movie did it justice.
