The Naked Face is a real plot-heavy book that kept me hooked till the last page. But the book honestly did not age well. Sidney makes many questionable statements, some of which are about Homophobia and Racism. Hence, I honestly found the book problematic and archaic in a sense.
Other than that, the plot was almost predictable. Hence, the ending wasn’t euphoric or brought me any sense of “Damn! What just happened?” If you know what I mean 😂
So I’d definitely say, read some other thriller and not this. 🤷🏽♀️

Graphic: Homophobia, Racism, Rape, and Sexual violence
