I can't really make up my mind about this one. Part of me loved it, and part of me felt flat.

The internal monologue was repetitive and I didn't feel there was enough character development to make me feel for any of the characters or understand their motivations or decisions. Things that were introduced weren't always gone in to.

That being said, the atmosphere created is so creepy and I was desperate to know what was going on. My heart was racing, and you felt as trapped as the characters. I seriously regret reading this before I'm due to go on a cruise soon... Will add a smidge of fear to the holiday haha it was addictive and the chapters were nice and short to make me want to read just one more. It's very much action, action, action.

The concept was really intriguing and unique. I liked the commentary on power, influence, and the idea of being a witness. I was just left a bit disappointed with the lack of character exploration. Wasn't quite to the strength of the other books I've read by the author which I absolutely loved.
