all the things I liked about this book had nothing to do with the plot. the tension and the eerieness and the visuals were so cool and well done but the plot. I realized about a 1/3 of the way through that it had become too complicated to be resolved in anyway I cared about. there was no satisfying conclusion and I doubt with the way some of the events unfolded there could be.
